We keep all of these on hand at no extra charge, so you can leave the bulky gear at home.
What’s at the cabin
- Pack ’n Play — a Dream On Me Zodiak portable play yard with an extra mattress pad and fitted sheet. It lives in the upstairs bedroom closet.
- High chair — in the main-floor bedroom closet.
- Kids’ dinnerware — baby spoons plus non-toxic, chemical-free plates, bowls, and cups, in the top kitchen cupboard next to the refrigerator.
- A folding baby gate.
- Bedtime help — children’s books we change out with the seasons, and a star nightlight in the room.
Setting up the play yard
Adult assembly, no tools needed.
- Take it out of the carry case. Release the two Velcro straps and set the mattress pad aside.
- Stand it upright and open it. Pull the four corners apart, and leave the center hub pulled up for now.
- Lock the four top rails. With the hub still up, grab each side at both ends and pull outward until the middle pops into place. You’ll hear a click when a rail locks. Do all four.
- Push the center hub down until the floor is flat. This locks the legs.
- Lay in the mattress pad, soft side up.
- Strap the pad down. Thread the four pad straps through the holes at the corners of the floor and fasten the Velcro on each.
Before you use it, push down on all four top rails to confirm they’re locked and won’t collapse.
Stuck? Write to us. We’d much rather walk you through it than have you wrestling with it at bedtime.
